Johanna: Facing Forward is a new bilingual play based on the true story of Johanna Orozco, a Cleveland teenager who survived multiple assaults by her ex-boyfriend. The play chronicles Johanna's physical and emotional recovery supported by her extended Latino family, talented medical team, and journalist Rachel Dissell who became her "voice" to the public that triggered a national movement against teen domestic violence.
