An Army of One has been selected for production at the Region V festival of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Fargo, ND, in late January.
There was a Talkback immediately following the November 20, performance of An Army of One
Panelists at the talkback included:
• Kevin Lucey, father of U.S. Marine reservist Jeffrey Lucey, who suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after serving in Iraq, and who committed suicide in June 2005.
• Allan Hanson, professor of Anthropology at KU, a founding member of the Lawrence Coalition for Peace and Justice.
• Zacory Boatright, playwright of An Army of One.
Paul Lim, professor of English, will introduce the panelists, and Chuck Berg, chair of the Department of Theatre & Film, will moderate the discussion.
