Wonderful Time by Jonathan Marc Sherman
directed by Samara Naeymi
A contemporary piece in a soft focus fantasyland complete with all the harsh realities of a broken heart, Wonderful Time is a cynic’s view of a romantic world and a romantic view of a cynical world. The play opened at the WPA Theater in New York City in January 1996.
Linus Worth is a graduate film student in California, getting ready to attend his best friend's wedding in New York. The day he has to leave, his world is turned upside down as his current relationship comes to an end and a new woman enters his life. Spontaneity is the theme of Linus and Betsy’s evening as they tear through New York City, learning more about themselves than each other at times. Throughout the course of the play, Linus goes on a journey to discover what he needs and wants from love and what he's missed all along.

The Brides by Harry Kondoleon
directed by Blake E. Bolan
Expressing what we want and our inability to get it right. Our need to be loved perfectly and to find perfection in a lover. The awful consequences of attempting to find and create such perfection. The Bride (who is not Herself) marries the Groom (who cannot see Her) and searches for her happy ending, along with a method by which to tell her tale. The Brides is the story that lurks behind the shiny surface of every fairy tale dream. Comedy and tragedy, fairy and cautionary tale, this is fantasy interrupted by reality.
