Mandy Patinkin, born November 30, 1952, in Chicago, IL, as Mandel Bruce Patinkin, is an American actor and singer.
He attended Kenwood High School and the University of Kansas, before transferring to the Juilliard School of Music in New York, NY.
On Broadway, he played Che Guevara in Evita and a leading role in Stephen Sondheim's Follies.
Mandy married actress Kathryn Grody in 1980. They have two sons, Isaac and Gideon.
