Patron's Information
In accordance with Kansas State Fire Marshal regulations, we request that you take a moment to identify the two emergency exits closest to you. We have checked these exits and the other emergency equipment in this building and verify they are available for use in case of emergency. In case of an emergency, pay close attention to the announcer or your usher for important life saving information.
For your safety, we ask that during the performance all our guests remain in their seats until the house lights are fully up at the end of each act. In addition to the safety concerns, the actors in our performances work very hard for your enjoyment. Exiting during the curtain call is extremely discourteous to the performers.
Hearing assistance equipment, available for your use in the University Theatre Ticket Office, may enhance your enjoyment of this performance and future performances. This equipment was provided by FRiends Of the THeatre (FROTH) and the primary sponsorship of Capitol Federal Savings.
Accessible seating is available for persons using wheelchairs. To make arrangements, call the University Theatre Ticket Office at 864-3982.
As a courtesy to our other guests and to the actors on stage, please refrain from talking during the performance. Guests creating disturbances deemed excessive will be asked to leave the theatre.
Please turn off cell phones, pagers, beeping watches and all other electronic devices that could possibly interfere with the performance.
No food or smoking are allowed in the KU theatres; please keep food in the outer lobby; KU campus buildings are smoke-free.
The use of photographic, video, or recording equipment during the performance is strictly prohibited by law.
A word about children: In consideration of our actors and other audience members, children age five and under are not allowed in the hall during performances. All patrons, even children, must have a ticket to attend performances.
Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. Please wait to be seated by an usher.
