Bedside

by Tosin Morohunfola
Directed by Garrett Kelly

Bedside: A Nightmare is a psychological thriller written by junior theatre major Tosin Morohunfola. A highly introspective piece, this drama takes our innermost thoughts about harming those we love and turns those thoughts into a reality. This original play is a work in progress that tickles our imagination, forcing us to analyze the power of suggestion.

4.43 Psychosis

by Sarah Kane
Directed by Amy Virginia Buchanan

4.48 Psychosis was written by the British playwright Sarah Kane, who killed herself in 1999 at age 28. Produced posthumously, it is Kane’s most experimental play and includes dialogues between patients and therapists, notes and jokes about grief, mental anguish and psychological distress, caustic accounts of the therapeutic use of drugs to treat depression, and diary jottings. The play’s title refers to 4:48 a.m., a time when the human will to live is apparently at its lowest ebb.
